Teddy Bear Day Care, a licensed Child Care center, providing care to Children 6 weeks to 10 years, is currently seeking highly motivated, creative, reliable teachers. We are located at the corner of 65th St. and Keystone Ave. near Glendale shopping mall. Lead teachers must have an Education degree and complete 12+ hours of professional development each year. Assistant teachers must have a minimum High School Diploma or GED and complete required training annually. Above all else you must have a passion for teaching and caring for young children.

Assistant Toddler Teacher

The job qualifications are as follows:

CDA/ Associates Degree/Bachelors Degree in early childhood
Experience working in a licensed childcare center is preferred
Excellent communication skills, dealing with children, parents, co-workers and superiors
Willingness to actively engage with 1 and 2 year olds
Must abide by all Licensing regulations & Company Policies
Strong work ethic
Reliable
Highly organized
Flexible-with the ability to work in other classrooms when necessary
Positive attitude
Familiarity with CACFP

Duties and Responsibilities include:

Diaper changing
Writing weekly thematic lesson plans
Implementing the weekly lesson plan
Daily communication with parents about children's days
Regularly sanitizing classroom toys & maintaining a clean environment
To provide a safe learning environment
Complete all necessary training hours annually
