Welcome
to Teddy Bear at Windermere! My name is Melissa
Day, and I am the center director. I have been with
Teddy Bear since 1995. I invite you
to visit our center; no appointment is
necessary.
Every day is filled with learning, laughter, songs,
stories and a caring staff. You will find the
children and staff immersed in learning during
preschool. Our curriculum is based on the
"Foundations for Learning," which is established by the
Indiana Department of Education. You can find

I am privileged to work with a staff that enjoys and
treasures their position of teaching and caring for
children. We work hard, but we also have fun.
I believe that it important to enjoy being here, to
be friendly to each other and to smile. I do not
know of a better way to role model positive
values to children than by example. We are not just a
center that teaches and cares for your child, but a place
that gets to know the children and their families.
