Working with children gives me the opportunity to see them grow and mature over the years. I enjoy seeing their expression on their faces when they accomplish a certain task. I like to do science and cooking projects when I am working in a classroom.

I enjoy being a part of each child's every day growth and watching them reach their milestones such as sitting up, crawling and walking. I enjoy working with parents to support their child in the routine they have for their child.

Teaching the children new things, especially words, is very exciting. We enjoy art, music and stories. One of my favorite moments is to see the children run to the door when we mention the word outside in conversation. They are always ready to go for a walk!

Spending time outside playing and going for walks are two of my favorite times of day. Art is a favorite activity for both the children and I. The children learn through play at different learning centers, learning to socialize with each other is a key aspect. I enjoy hearing the children talk; they say the darndest things each day that will make me laugh. "Live, Love, Laugh" (my favorite quote).

One of my favorite parts of working with children is to watch them discover how to do new things. I enjoy reading with the children and to draw in shaving cream.

I enjoy seeing the children learn, especially when it is something difficult for them. I love the hugs and each child's unique personality. One memory that sticks out in my mind was the time when a child flushed his sticker. I had to explain to him that I couldn't get it back and what happens when we flush the potty and where it goes. He still cried and insisted that I get it back. All the while a parent of another child stood outside the door laughing. It was a little embarrassing but made for a story that I could share and laugh at forever. Those are the moments I cherish.

We enjoy 'messy' activities and art. We set up a variety of learning centers in the classroom each day. Every day provides outside time or time in our gym room.

I love setting up play and learning centers to help enhance experiences and their imagination. Science experiments, group learning games and activities are favorites. Working with children provides a new experience every day. No two days are ever alike. I enjoy those special moments when you see something just 'click' for a child and know that they are proud that they figured it out.

I enjoy seeing the child's honesty and to see the world through their eyes. My favorite learning activity with the children is art where the end product is the child's own creation.

Some of my favorite learning activities are stories and songs at Circle Time, learning games involving spelling, sight words, sequences, BINGO and phonics.

I enjoy singing, painting and reading books with the children. My favorite qoute is "While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about."

I enjoy listening to the stories children have to tell. They keep you laughing. I can understand how their day is at the center since I attended Teddy Bear myself.
